About the College


                Kamala Institute of Technology & Science, Singapur, Huzurabad was established in 1997 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and is permanently affiliated to JNT University, Hyderabad. The college is sponsored by Vodithala Education Society, Hyderabad. The members of the society have established sister technical institutes-Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science, Warangal (1980) and Kavikulaguru Institute of Technology & Science, Ramtek, Maharastra (1985). This college offers Under Graduate Programs in CSE, ECE, EEE, IT and ME branches with a total intake of 390 students and Post Graduate Program in MCA with an intake of 60 students. The College has well established labs in all branches and also provides the facilities like staff quarters, indoor games complex, hostels for boys and girls, Internet, telecast of Mana TV and Ekalavya education channels.
               
                The college is recognized as a center of excellence known as  Jawahar Knowledge Center with star status  by the state government for training students to the requirement of IT industry. It is located in a mango grove measuring 26 acres at Singapur on the State highway about 35 km from Warangal or from Karimnagar. The nearest railway stations are Kazipet and Warangal. Participants are advised to alight either at Kazipet or Warangal depending upon their travel.
